Hadith

Hadith

The Hadith is an essential component of Islamic legislation and serves as the second source of guidance for Muslims.

This educational program is designed to help learners understand and appreciate the Hadith through a comprehensive three-step process.

  1. The first step involves instilling the meanings of the Hadith in the hearts of beginners.
  2. The second step is focused on memorizing the Hadiths that form the foundation of Islam.
  3. Finally, the third step involves studying the Hadith's sanad and matn, which teaches students how to distinguish between Sahih (authentic) Hadith and Hadith Al-Dhaif (weak).

This interactive curriculum is widely used by students in schools and universities, and it relies on common approved resources (Ahl-Assuna Wal-Jama'a) to ensure the quality of Hadith education.

The Hadith curriculum comprises three levels of education for students:

  • The first level is designed for beginners and includes an interactive curriculum that is available in Arabic and English. It includes Hadiths, activities, and exercises that cover topics such as beliefs, worship, and ethics.
  • The second level is intermediate and requires students to study the Forty Nawawi book, which provides a complete explanation of the Hadith and the lessons derived from it.
  • The third  level is advanced, where students learn about the science of term Hadith, research methods in the Hadith's sanad and matn, the sources that collected the Prophetic Sunnah, how the Hadiths are arranged, and methods of Hadith graduation.

The Hadith curriculum is structured in a progressive manner, enabling students to gain a comprehensive understanding of this vital aspect of Islamic education.
